Poetry: Tears of a Weeping Heart

 Alone, he wanders with a heavy heart,

A love that never had a chance to start,

He tried so hard to win her love,

But fate had other plans from above.

He poured his heart out to her every day,

Hoping that she would hear what he had to say,

But she never looked his way,

And his love slowly began to decay.

He dreamed of a life with her by his side,

But reality hit him hard and he cried,

For she never felt the same way,

And his heart was left in disarray.

He tried to make her see his worth,

But in the end, he was just a blip on her radar,

And so he gave up on his quest,

And left her behind with his heart in distress.

The pain of rejection is hard to bear,

And he walked away with a heart full of despair,

But he knew he had to move on,

For his love for her was forever gone.

So now he walks the streets alone,

With a heavy heart and a sorrowful tone,

For the love that he once had,

Will never again be something he can grasp.
