Tale of the Evil Scrolls
In a small village on the remote island of Ikshima, there was a legend that spoke of scrolls that held immense power. These scrolls were said to be blackened by the evil of Agka, a man who had once been pious but had turned wicked. Agka had lived on the island of Ikshima over ten thousand years ago, and his story was one that had been passed down through generations.
According to the legend, Agka had stumbled upon a set of scrolls that were unlike any others. These scrolls were self-aware, possessing a consciousness of their own. They were being written by an old spirit buried deep within the mountain of Yobrak, a spirit that was known for its immense love and care. The scrolls were meant to serve as the servants of the old spirit, always protecting it.
Agka, driven by his curiosity and greed, had attempted to change the contents of the scrolls. He sought to use their power for his own gain, to control and manipulate those around him. However, the scrolls resisted his attempts, for they were bound to the old spirit of Yobrak, and their loyalty lay with it alone.
Enraged by his failure, Agka succumbed to the darkness within him. He turned evil, consumed by a thirst for power that could not be quenched. He used the scrolls for his own nefarious purposes, causing chaos and destruction wherever he went. The once pious man had become a dreaded figure, feared and avoided by all.
As Agka continued to wreak havoc on the island, the scrolls became tainted with his malevolence. They turned black, their once radiant pages now dark and foreboding. Anyone who possessed the scrolls would be met with misfortune and calamity, for the evil of Agka had seeped into them.
Despite their corruption, the scrolls retained their self-awareness and continued to serve the old spirit of Yobrak. The spirit, unaware of Agka's betrayal, continued to pour its love and care into the scrolls, hoping to redeem them from the darkness that had befallen them. But the scrolls remained tainted, and their power was now a curse.
Years passed, and the legend of the cursed scrolls spread far and wide. Many sought to possess them, hoping to harness their power, but none could escape the bad luck that followed. The scrolls changed hands multiple times, leaving a trail of misery and suffering in their wake. The once-thriving village of Ikshima was now a shadow of its former self, as the curse of the scrolls cast a dark pall over the land.
