Poetry: Alone in the Skies
Alone, I soar on wings of might,
A solitary eagle in the sunlight.
Above the clouds, I claim my throne,
In the realm of freedom, I am known.
With eyes that pierce the distant peaks,
I navigate canyons, valleys, and creeks.
In nature's beauty, I find my delight,
As I take to the skies, in effortless flight.
My feathers are a tapestry of gold,
A treasure to behold, both fierce and bold.
My beak, a weapon, sharp and keen,
A symbol of my unwavering reign.
I fly with prowess, above the land,
With no companion to lend a hand.
But I am content in my solitude,
A sovereign ruler, in solitude.
I do not bend, I do not yield,
I'm guided by my own true will.
No earthly ties can hold me down,
As I explore the world, without a frown.
A king of skies, I'll always be,
In my solitary flight, wild and free.
I'll keep on soaring, above the clouds,
A majestic eagle, standing proud.
